Some of my greatest and memorable moments in my life came during my hockey career. From the lifelong friendships to endless travel and car rides with my parents. I took pride in being one of the hardest working guys on the ice, as well as being a leader and team player on and off the ice. My career ended after college and the experiences I’ve learned from my favorite sport have carried over into my professional career. From being a team player for the company, leading by example and putting in the work to be successful. My athletic career has built my character to be successful in the workforce.Graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. I’ve always felt I’m a great communicator as well writer. From being the captain on hockey teams and striking long conversations with someone new, communicating and giving a good impression is a skill I take pride in. Writing has been secret passion of mine since an early age. It was my favorite subject from my elementary schools years until my college days ended. I landed a job working for Discover716 covering the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL. As a lifelong Sabres fan, it was a pleasure to cover my childhood team and interacting with readers.Recently married to the girl of my dreams, and we are building our future and memories together everyday. I was given a great opportunity with TDCSU as a claims adjuster on the medical team. Going into the position without an insurance background, I’m grateful for the faith they’ve shown in me as well as their patience. I started the position with no experience in the industry, but now have a great understanding of Sapiens, office culture and the insurance industry.Whether it was my hockey career, marrying my dream girl or landing my current position, I believe nothing great comes easy. However, I believe that’s what makes it more special.
