Decathlon USA LLC is a subsidiary of Decathlon SA, a French sporting goods retailer founded in 1976. With the goal of making sports affordable and available to the many, Decathlon SA found sustained success in Europe. With aspirations of competing in the US Market, Decathlon USA chose San Francisco to open their first concept store in 2017. I was fortunate enough to join the team in early 2019, just months before the opening of Decathlon USA's first full sized retail store. Part of a finance team of three, I am designing financial processes, providing financial statements and analysis to guide both e-commerce and retails teams and ensure the financial health of Decathlon USA's future.- I am responsible for company wide cash flow management. In addition to human cost of our 130+ employees this includes retail activity for three stores, e-commerce operations, warehouse logistics and the corporate office.- I oversee the production of the financial statements for Decathlon's three retail stores and e-commerce operations. I designed processes for revenue recognition, monthly cost tracking and balance sheet reconciliations and transitioned these recurring responsibilities to our accounting teams- After the production of the financial statements, I review the results of each entity with their respective teams. I enjoy the opportunity to see the financial statements through the operational lenses of the business managers. It is my role to provide the most relevant and accurate analytical information for their decision making as well as providing financial context to their long term plans. The business partner relationship is key to assuring the expert's visions can be executed in a financially feasible manner.

Researched Massachusetts and other states case law relating to the inclusion of trust assets in a beneficiary’s divorce proceedings; drafted legal memorandum that summarized case law and made suggestions for new protective provisions in a trust.Conducted research on statutes, precedents, regulations and rulings and participated in the preliminary stages of of drafting trusts and wills specific to the client’s needs.Initiated drafts of estate planning documents for firm attorney – wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, etc.
