Though I am a teacher by trade, I have always employed my skills that I acquired while studying Acting at UofT and Sheridan College. I have worked with many talented people in many brilliant companies over the last decade and am always excited by and honored to support bold new projects. I am a teacher of Theatre Arts for the Diploma Program, currently guiding the DP1s through the first year of the program. Since August, I have been working with the students to expose them to the various skills and experiences that they will need in order to be successful in their required coursework. Next year, I will be following them into their second year, giving them a consistent through line from beginning to end.In addition to being a teacher, I have also taken on the role of House Parent, meaning that I am responsible for 50+ students who live in residence. I have been working with a dedicated team of staff members who all believe that providing well-rounded support, both emotionally and academically, is an essential key to our students' success. In addition, the relationships and trust that I have been able to forge with my students through this role has been invaluable both in the classroom and out of it and I am thankful for being a part of such a vibrant learning community.

I specialize in MYP Middle School level Dramatic Arts education for grade 7 and 8. My main goal is the revitalization of the school's drama program through the introduction of units that follow the MYP 'Design Cycle' process. This has been a great method to expose students to the wider realm of theatre disciplines. I also wrote/directed the Middle School play production and worked the lighting for the High School production of Honk Jr.In September 2016, I took on the role of Artistic Director for AIS's first full scale Musical Production of The Wizard of Oz and worked with a remarkably talented and dedicated core team to see the show realized over a period of 3 months.

Taught English on both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels, but mostly specialized in KS3. Furthermore, I was a tutor/mentor for a group of 30 students from Year 7 up until Year 8 and was a point of contact for them and both teachers in the school and parents at home.

Taught English literature to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes, with a specialty in KS3. Learned firsthand the intricacies of managing a classroom filled with students who have learning difficulties.
