The Practice Manager for Product and Advisory / Technical Manager is responsible for leading the growth and development of the practice, managing day-to-day operations and maintaining efficient teams. Key responsibilities include:● Facilitating the strategy and growth of the practice, working closely with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and create and maintain policies and procedures● Building stronger relationships with partners, customers, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes● Overseeing project management/coordination within the practice to ensure successful delivery of technical projects and products● Developing internal software tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the practice● Sourcing and identifying new business opportunities to grow revenue and expand the practice's offerings● Managing day-to-day operations of the practice, including resource planning and allocation, budgeting, and reporting● Maintaining effective and efficient teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and performance management

This role is responsible for delivering both technical and solution-based solutions to provide optimal processes to the business across all 12,000 employees.Included in this role is managing relationships with software providers, key stakeholders and the wider business. Providing reporting and data analysis to the business to allow the effective management of budgets and costs.Key Accountabilities● Collaborate with management across to business to ensure they are providing operational efficiencies and transparent payroll information● Provide reporting solutions through a range of solutions such as SSRS and Tableau● Design and build integrations between platforms such as PageUp, Deputy, Tableau, SAP and Active Directory● Ensuring that the systems remain compliant with payroll legislation, including the review and interpretation of IR conditions and configuring these conditions● Offering technical support as required to the wider business as required● Managing a cloud-hosted solution (AWS) to ensure maximum uptime provided to the business● SQL database management and optimization, including using SQL to extract and analyse information● Managing a team of analysts and specialists to provide support to the organisation, ranging from basic support and training for end-users up to dealing with the executive to provide support to complex business solutions● Creating policies and technical documentation outlining system configuration and requirements

Responsible for the end to the implementation of PayGlobal and any relevant modules, for pre-sale to post go-live support, with a focus on technical solutions to solve complex problems. This includes designing and building integration solutions between PayGlobal and applications across a broad spectrum of functionality. Working independently or as the lead consultant as part of a team to ensure this work is delivered on time and successfully across clients in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and parts of Asia.Key Accountabilities included:● Technical documentation of design requirements ● Detailed knowledge of SQL and relevant SQL processes including SQL components such as SSIS and SSRS ● Creation of integration solutions using a variety of methods including SSIS, API and Webhooks to a range of applications, including but not limited to Kronos, Page Up, Cornerstone, Oracle, Microsoft Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, RosterOn and Active Directory. ● Familiarity with a range of systems and business processes required to provide solutions across various platforms, including finance, recruitment, HR and learning management applications ● Exposure to payroll legislation internationally including Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and parts of Asia ● Managing client relationships and building connections with business partners within the network ● Creating processes internally for the improvement of business processes including consolidating and versioning our technical projects

PayGlobal Maintenance for Australian and New Zealand including, but not limited to the followingtasks:● Working closely with HR to interpret Awards / Agreements● Creating awards and agreements within PayGlobal● Maintaining payroll and system rules● Designing and creating reports in Report Builder● Performing system maintenance● Upgrading database to latest releases● Query writing in SQL 2005/2008 to extract information from PayGlobal for reporting● Customising and maintaining PayGlobal Self Service● Training new and existing users in the use of PayGlobal Explorer and PayGlobal● mplementing TimeTEQ pilot for use within Compass Group● Designing interfaces with other systems such as Converga, Pronto, Oracle and other systems

PayGlobal Maintenance for Australian including, but not limited to the following tasks:● Interpreting and creating awards and agreements in PayGlobal● Assisting in End of Month Reporting● Maintaining payroll and system rules● Performing system maintenance● Training new and existing users in the use of PayGlobal Explorer and PayGlobal

Processing payroll for approx. 2500 employees using PayGlobal● Involved in all steps of the payroll from T&A through to submission of payments to bank● Dealing with site and employee based queries● Assisting with Award Interpretation as required

● Installation and upgrade of Eftpos machines for banks including Westpac and NAB● Implementation of point of sale (POS) systems● End user training and support
