Grade: IFinal year research project in Prof. Seamus Martin's lab exploring the differences in catalytic activity between variants of the SARS-CoV-2 3CL protease. Extensive laboratory experience gained and techniques learned including recombinant protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE, and spectrophotometric assays. Thesis introducing the project's theoretical background and reporting on the findings and implications of the project was also completed.
