Platinum One was contracted as event manager and Conor managed all tournament logistics, liaising with the PGA European Tour while he oversaw the planning, organisation and execution of the event. The event was a success, and Conor was commended for his professionalism by the PGA European tour, who decided to run it as an annual golfing event each July. Conor arranged sponsorship events for both the “European Open” Golf Championship & the Irish Homeless World Cup football team. At the “European Open” annual golfing event, Conor ran the logistics of a “sponsor’s exhibition tent”, where organisational and communication skills were essential. As a sponsorship consultant to the Irish Homeless World Cup football team, Conor negotiated sponsorship with local companies, and ran a “charity penalty shootout” event. All proceeds went directly to the Irish Homeless World Cup football team.
