I am tasked with a variety of duties throughout all areas of the store. I often open the store by myself, which involves cleaning the store, preparing online orders from the previous night, opening the cash drawer, and making sure everything is presentable for the customers. During the day I assist customers, process transactions, receive shipments, and prepare outgoing orders. I am also often required to assist with running a variety of in-store events and tournaments in conjunction with other staff and customers. I place weekly orders for several categories of merchandise, reviewing their performance and reevaluating order quantities as needed. I oversee new employees, providing training and guidance in all aspects of the business. I also regularly meet with the owner to discuss upcoming orders and policies.

Cleveland, Ohio

I worked as a grip and camera assistant to a camera operator during home games for the Cleveland Browns. Our responsibility was to capture footage of fans before the game at events such as tailgating and the Dawg Pound Drive venue, and then proceed to capture footage of fans in the stands during the game. My responsibilities could include tasks such as prepping the camera, carrying equipment, running memory cards between the press box and my camera operator, and whatever other tasks I was assigned. I also operated the camera during the game when my cameraman is asked to fill in a different position.

As a videographer for Just Hitched, I spent my day filming all aspects of a couple's wedding ceremony. Sometimes I was partnered with another videographer, and the two of us spent the day filming the couple's pre-ceremony preparations, the ceremony, photo hour, and reception. Otherwise, I did all the filming myself. Just Hitched provided wedding videos meant to encompass the entire day, so filming also involved creating transition shots and capturing details of all the venues. I coordinated throughout the day with the couple, wedding party, wedding planner(s), and any other vendors or speakers as necessary.

As a sales associate, I assisted customers with all of their shopping needs in regards to merchandise in the store. I arranged and built displays of merchandise, and stock all shelves and displays as new merchandise arrived. I also assisted at cash registers and the customer service desk to check out customers, answer and direct phone calls, and answer any customer questions. I also helped maintain a neat and orderly store, and assisted management and fellow employees with other duties as necessary.

I worked as a front end associate at Heinen's Grocery Store for two years in high school and returned as a seasonal worker when home from college. My job required me to provide excellent customer service while interacting with those checking out, primarily while bagging their groceries. I also worked in Parcel Pick-Up, helping people load groceries into their cars.As a grocery associate, I was tasked with stocking shelves and displays throughout the store, while also making sure said displays were presentable for the customers. I assisted customers in finding products, and often helped other departments with miscellaneous needs.

Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

During my internship, I assisted in the daily activities of the CCR office while also assisting with occasional videography work. Some of my office responsibilities included prepping equipment for rentals, checking in returned orders. organizing equipment within the office, driving out for deliveries and pick-ups, and cleaning our workspace. These tasks, among others, provided me with the opportunity to familiarize myself with a variety of equipment I had not previous had access to. In addition, I occasionally accompanied fellow employees in order to assist with videography work such as wedding videos and promotional videos for companies.

I provided customers with excellent customer service as they exit the store, checking them out efficiently and making sure they had everything they needed. I coordinated with my coworkers in order to better serve customers as well as perform other duties such as cleaning and organizing various areas of the store. This position allowed me to improve upon my communication skills and teamwork.

The RA position calls for a myriad of duties including but not limited to assisting with Office of Residence Life activities, interacting with residents and establishing community, and enforcing university policies. The position provided multiple growth opportunities for working within a group environment and reaching out to those in need. It also required me to develop reactionary skills for unforeseen situations when on duty within my residence hall.
