EU & BMZ financed GIZ-AWARE Project:2021 - 2022: Reviewed, drafted and finalised four catchment Status Reports, Local Water Management Plans and water allocation models for four sub-catchments of the Lower Kafue Basin. Conducted stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, data collection, data analysis and report writing.2022: Capacity building of four Water Users Associations engaged in landscape restoration in the Lower Kafue Basin, involving soil and water conservation measures, team management and conflict resolution techniques.2023: Developed a compendium on Integrated Catchment Management and Soil and Water Conservation measures for the purpose of promoting landscape restoration approaches to a wider audience in Zambia.2024: Developed a concept paper on nature-based solutions and flood risk mitigation.

Project Manager • In partnership with WWF, designed and implemented the ABInBev-funded landscape restoration initiative in the Lower-Kafue Sub Catchment targeting 1000 hectares of Farmer-Managed Natural Regeneration and restoration of the Magoye Forest Reserve.• Designed and implemented the AFR100-funded landscape restoration initiative, planting 315,000 trees and training 300 farmers on Natural Regeneration.• Supported the Zambian Bureau of Standards to develop a Good Agricultural Practices Standard for fruits and vegetables; convened industrial Multi-Stakeholder Platform; conducting pesticide residue testing; and stakeholder advocacy for adoption of the standard.• In partnership with Future Water (NL) and Nuffic, trained staff of the Zambian Agricultural Research Institute and Dept. of Agriculture on Kobo Collect, InVEST, Google Earth Engine, Earth Map and QGISProject Manager, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs-funded Sustainable Landscape Management program:• In partnership with WARMA, supervised implementation of Kaleya Water Abstraction Survey, formation of Kaleya Water User Association and facilitated dispute resolution process.• In partnership with Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and Dept. of Water, implemented catchment protection activities in the Magoye River including topographical surveys, channel dredging, river bank restoration, and Community-Based Natural Resource Management• In partnership with PRACTICA (NL) conducted assessment of shallow sandy aquifers for groundwater irrigation development• Acted as steering committee member of the Kafue Flats Joint Action Group (KFJAG), guiding the private sector on shared-value landscape management opportunities.Business DevelopmentResponsible for proposal writing and partnership engagement on issues related to water, climate, environment and agriculture in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa.

Researched two policy instruments of South Africa’s Water Allocation Reform program (Compulsory Licensing and Validation & Verification), which strives to achieve social equity in water rights and to mitigate water scarcity. Interviewed government representatives, academics, consultants, smallholder and commercial farmers in two water users associations of the Western Cape and made policy recommendations to government.

Curated a series of events that culminated in a symposium of industry leaders and academics innovating for sustainability in the textile and fashion industries

Supported director in establishing the B Corp (Benefit Corporation) movement in IrelandFacilitated meetings and pitched the B Corp opportunity to Ireland's private sector companies

Liaised with national water utility (Irish Water) to obtain and analyse politically-sensitive data on strategic infrastructural developments addressing drinking water treatment capacities,wastewater treatment capacities and public notices on water contamination.Packaged data to inform party policy and to brief candidates running in General Election.

Commissioned to assess diffuse agricultural and domestic nitrogen pollution and its risk to water quality in four rivers of the South-Eastern River Basin District of Ireland; evaluatedcompliance against the EU Water Framework Directive.Identified at-risk sub-catchments and associated pollutant sources; incorporatedrecommendations into basin management plan; presented findings at the International Water Association’s Diffuse Pollution and Catchment Management conference in Dublin, 2016.
