Thereafter, the markets were reshuffled to Africa, Bhutan, Australia Onshore. Responsible for the development and implementation of annual recruitment strategies for key recruitment areas. In my final year, my portfolio (South Asia, Middle East and Africa) accounted for 85% of the college's new enrolments from offshore markets.A critical aspect of the role was effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders across the matrix structure - Navitas's Joint Venture with ECU - and managing the governance of applications and admissions processing. A highly dynamic role that required strategic planning and leadership of ECC's offshore "In-Country Teams" in South Asia and Africa to deliver sustainable growth of student enrolments on time and within budget. This involved but not limited to developing and implementing marketing campaign strategies for lead generation and conversion.This expanded role included many other facets including; strategic planning of recruitment trips, seminars and overseas conferences for delegations, ensure key market insights were regularly fed into the relevant Navitas Regional Offices to shape their recruitment strategy, spearhead a college re-brand from PIBT to ECC, and lead the regionally based teams through an operational restructure to ensure a smooth transition to the new model.
