Manages over 65 Sailors and responsible for the maintenance and accountability of over 150 detachment weapons.Deployed to United Arab Emirates in November 2010 as Task Group 56.7 Landside Security Officer. Responsible for all Landside Security Operations in the ports of Jebel Ali and Fujairah, protecting American High Value Assets critical for American shipping the Persian Gulf.

Responsible for a P-1 Division of 35 Engineering Sailors.Managed and supervised the maintenance of all equipment in the Main Space to include one 600 PSI Boiler, one Main Propulsion Turbine, two Ship Service Turbine Generators, two Three Stage Flash Evaporators and all associated equipment.Managed $12.5 Million overhaul of the ship as Ships Maintenance Management Officer during 2009 ship yard availiblity. Coordinated with outside contractors and port engineer on ensuring that all work was completed on schedule. Main projects of the yard period included overhaul of both 600 PSI boilers, one Main Propulsion Turbine, one Emergency Diesel Generator and one Three Stage Flash Evaporator.Accountable for all Casulty Reports and tracking completion of casulties ship wide.Managed all Departures from Specifications for all casulties that were repaired but not able to comply with NAVSEA specifications.

Managed Second Deck Divsion on board USS Dubuque. Division responsibiliites include the deployment and operation of all ship small boats (1 - 7m Rigid Hull Inflatable Body (RHIB), 1 -11m RHIB, and 1 - 34 ft Personnel Launch).Managed all ship board search and rescue swimmers maintaining full search and rescue capabilites.Deployed as Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) Boarding Officer to the Persian Gulf during 2008 Western Pacific deployment. Lead VBSS team on over 50 approach and visit operations in support of various anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden, Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
