Conor has over 25 years’ experience in Operations Management, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing Engineering in high tech manufacturing, both in Ireland and California. Most recently Conor was a founding partner in a PPE supply business in Orange County California.Prior to establishing his last business, Conor was Director of Operations for a mobile accessories start up in Dublin, Ireland (Juku Gear). That role involved establishing the supply chain and managing the design and development and release of new products. In that role he visited China several times, visited scores of factories and oversaw the qualification of Chinese suppliers both for product manufacturing and retail packaging design.Back in the 90’s Conor was hired by an Irvine California based memory module company, Southland Micro Systems. There he established manufacturing, including automated assembly lines, and managed its growth for about a decade. His final role was VP of Operations. He implemented a world class Quality System there and gained ISO9001 certification early on. He was also the lead in implementing the Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) System for the company.Prior working in Southland Micro Systems, Conor also held management positions in Western Digital, Irvine, California and in Western Digital’s Cork, Ireland facility. This included a stint working on issues in WD’s Puerto Rico facility. Conor also speaks Spanish.Prior to working for WD Conor worked for EI Company, Shannon Ireland as a Production Engineer and in management. (Back then it was an overseas facility belonging to General Electric)
