Welding Technician
Current• Provide weld development for customers as related to feasibility, proof or principal, or the generation of Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)• Perform functionality testing on new and rental equipment.• Learn and be familiarized with all available company products as related to welding; weld heads and power supplies.• Maintain and organize weld lab to ensure cleanliness and ergonomic layout.• Provide live welding demonstrations for existing or potential customers either in-house or on-site.• Provide on-site welding services either under the company’s quality program or the customer’s quality program as required.• Provide customer training as required for new or existing customers.• Provide technical support to customers as required through phone calls or email interactions.
