Fifteen years' experience in global politics, financial services, international law and security. As a senior official in the UK government managing large teams, I negotiated bilateral agreements with governments in the Middle East, was responsible for increasing cross-border trade and investment with the largest emerging markets such as China and India, and negotiating the largest inter-governmental cyber security agreement in 2018. I have extensive experience working with governments and senior stakeholders in the private sector in the EU, the Middle East and Asia. I have also worked within, and in partnership with, multiple UN agencies (UNHCR, OCHA, UNICEF, ILO) and the UN Secretariat on responding to crises around the world and introducing UN Security Council Resolutions. I am a qualified barrister in England and Wales, with a strong academic background in law and international relations.
