I have worked at Dart Container as a Production Planning Intern, using software such as Microsoft Excel, SAP and BI. The products I worked with were the paper products and the cutlery products and planned how much of each item should be made based on our capacity. I also have been optimizing large Excel files, making them both smaller and easier to use.During the previous 2 summers, I worked at KTM Industries as an intern, making complex spreadsheets on Excel, and correlating multiple variables to try and find different points of efficiency. I worked hands-on with many different departments including the supply chain, accounting, financial, manufacturing, and human resource groups. On multiple occasions, I presented my findings both written and orally to the CEO and Board of Trustees.Written and Oral Communication skillsBefore becoming a business major, I was a journalism student and wrote many articles, both for class and for extra-curricular. I was a member of the student-run radio station IMPACT 89FM and was able to write articles that were published on their website.Orally, I have announced multiple sports including basketball, gymnastics, and baseball. The level of play has varied between High School and College. In 2016, won 1st place in Michigan for play-by-play announcer by MIPA (Michigan Interscholastic Press Association). I have also worked with live production with the Big Ten Network, and Fox Sports. These experiences have helped me to be clear and precise when speaking on the fly.
