At Mattamy homes I help manage the land development projects from acquisition to final assumption, with liaison between Sales, Marketing, Building/Architecture, Government Authorities, Consultants and Contractors. My role is significantly project management oriented and requires strong organization skills as any delay in the project can have a significant impact on the project and the homeowners moving into our communities. - I leverage the knowledge I have gained in my engineering degree and MBA to review and assist in the development of technical drawings and reports, and to create and manage land team budgets. I also get the opportunity to use Autocad to design the layout of our communities!

At Rockwell Collins I was tasked with supporting the program management team in business pursuit and capture, product development, customer delivery and support activities. This involved coordinating activities across many different internal functional areas, as well as working with customers to ensure entire program life cycles were successful.I also took it upon myself to support the finance team as they went through their Annual Operating Plan budgeting process.

Mechanical CAD Design (Creo, SolidWorks and FlowTherm)-At Flex one of my focuses was to design/redesign models in both Creo, SolidWorks and sometimes Flotherm. These models were pieces of major projects. Through this I had to integrate with both the electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure that all our models integrated successfully. -Example: I had to redesign and develop the mechanical side of a power supply used in a server of one of the products. I then had to transfer this into FloTherm and analyze the airflow and thermal characteristics.-Example: I had to design a vibration plate for one of the testing labs. All products that get tested at Flex have to go through vibration testing in order too be approved in different countries. The custom vibration table I designed was a massive steel plate to support large servers. The vibration plate design was an iterative process, done to avoid resonant frequencies. Costumer Product and Lab Support- I was tasked with working and providing support to customers and their products. This involved maintaining, re-configuring hardware and software, keeping inventories, and running tests for customers. Most customer products I supported required writing and rewriting Linux scripts to ensure they were functioning properly and ready for testing. Assembly- By assembling products in which I had taken part in the design, my experience came full circle and was very rewarding. I studied engineering drawings and used various assembly skills such as soldering, heat shrinking, drilling, and many more the assemble a final working product, which then was vigorously tested.

- Through my time at Aroma Pizza I have made great friends! I have learned the ins and outs of the pizza business and was the only employee that was given the responsibility of running the store when the owner wanted a day off. I have been at the same location through two different owners. Through my time at Aroma Pizza, the most valuable lesson I learned was the amount of hard work required to own and run a small business.

Web Developer- When I took on this position I had very limited experience in coding. I was able to convince the company to take me on as an intern by demonstrating my willingness and ability to learn. I was given a one month unpaid trial period in which they would assess my development. After the one month was complete, they would either offer me a contract for the rest of the summer or terminate my internship. - My main task at LiveQos was to design and develop a website that would be used internally to speed up product testing. Initially test scripts that were used to test products designed by LiveQos were created, run, and maintained by a single individual as they were the only person who understood how to manually change the test script. I designed an interactive website that could create, read, and write different test scripts, allowing any user to easily change inputs to their desired parameters and specifications. Furthermore, the website was able to then run the test scripts and display intuitive real time results. This was done in php, html, Javascript, and css. I can say that I am very proud of the website I designed having no experience coming into the Internship!-I also had to perform testing on different products developed by LiveQos in Linux. This helped me be very successful at providing customer product support during my time at Flex.
