Volta Charging (NYSE: VLTA*) is advancing the adoption of electric vehicles by providing charging stations where you already visit. * Volta was acquired by Shell (SHEL) in March 2023Sought out as an experienced People leader, I was brought on to build the Human Resources (HR) infrastructure to ensure efficacy and efficiency since this newly public company had recently scaled 2.5X. ➟ Provided strategic and bold leadership to the team that handled Performance Management, People Experience, Leadership Development, People Strategy, People Partnering, and the global People PMO in a dynamic environment.➟ Built and directed a small-but-mighty team hyper-focused on performance and talent management, executing double the work with half the resources versus most comparable companies.➟ Partnered with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to develop the company’s first-ever global People organization strategy, including OKRs, operating principles, annual planning timeline, and global programs roadmap.➟ Created the company’s first-ever formal job architecture and performance enablement philosophy, which defined what good performance looked like, the process of performance management, and other valuable guidance and framework. ➟ Spearheaded a company-wide 2021 EOY compensation review and performance measurement cycle: 400+ employees, $6.5M compensation budget, and a brand-new performance measurement tool deployment.

During my time with Box, I championed the value of cross-functional partnership and a simple programmatic approach to effectively drive change across this global, public 2,000+ person company while co-administering a multimillion-dollar budget.➟ Directed company-wide business operations partnering exclusively with the co-founder/CFO.➟ Led the Global Program Management Office (PMO), which involved leading all critical, cross-functional projects sponsored by the Office of the CFO. ➟ Overhauled global corporate location strategy with oversight of entire C-Suite leadership team and Board of Directors, which included the development of a secondary R&D center of excellence in Poland. ➟ Developed quarterly and annual OKRs and strategic priorities, managed the quarterly business review process, and led end-to-end processes connected to the Board of Directors (BoD) Operating Committee.➟ Oversaw all aspects of executive communications for co-founder/CFO including content preparation for reporting quarterly earnings, quarterly global All Hands meetings coordination, strategic planning report-outs for the Board of Directors, Performance Management updates, and all culture-focused communications.

I was hired into this evolving role as the 17K-employee eCommerce unit strategically pursued becoming the top eCommerce platform in the world. ➟ Partnered with the brand-new Chief People Officer and Corporate Development leadership to develop integration playbooks for Walmart’s recent M&A activity, including change management, streamlined communications, outlining the performance management process, etc. Directed People and M&A communications for the US eCommerce business unit.➟ Managed cross-functional, high-performing teams to execute communications and change management programs across Walmart's eCommerce business unit. ➟ Planned and executed the first-ever 4-day Brand Summit to unite and align ~12 recently acquired logos to the Walmart ecosystem. Brought everyone together at corporate to connect on core messaging on Walmart eCommerce future, people integration, updates, and more.

In 2017, I was promoted to partner with global function leadership as the primary business relationship manager for most of HPE’s west coast real estate, managing an $80M OpEx budget.➟ Served as the key liaison between Global Real Estate leadership and HQ-based senior leaders to drive effective change management and communication planning regarding large-scale real estate projects. ➟ Steered operational readiness planning for the $60M relocation of corporate HQ; re-designed corporate amenities and sustainability programming in collaboration with HR; partnered with Global Real Estate executive leadership team to capture ~$4M savings. ➟ Directed a team of 40+ operations managers, project managers, and engineers who managed 2M square feet of Class A real estate.

➟ Spent my first 2 years at HPE as a project partner rotating through 4 parts of global procurement organization as part of the Professional Rotational Experience Program (PREP); rotations included HR, Finance, Operations, and Communications. ➟ Promoted in year 3 as a trusted advisor to the VP, Global Corporate Solutions & Programs to manage the global Program Management Office (PMO).➟ Developed and managed global communications and the change management program for the HPE Global Corporate Solutions & Programs Divestiture Management Office during the spin-off and merger of HPE’s Enterprise Services division with CSC.
