Conor Trawinski (Ireland, 1987) is a designer & system thinker. He works with process-driven design methodologies while facilitating and guiding people through the co-design process. He understands the inclusion of multidisciplinary professionals and nonprofessionals is one of the most important factors for the success of any creative project. In 2013 Conor graduated Cum Laude from, world renowned, Design Academy Eindhoven with his co-design graduation project, WeCollaborate. This project won the Connectors Award and was nominated by the Municipality of Eindhoven for the Social Design Talent Award. Prior to his study in Eindhoven Conor studied Furniture Design and Manufacture at GMIT Letterfrack, Ireland, where he won Habitat and House and Home Student Design Award 2008 for his project Multipooch.Since his working career started in 2013 Conor has teamed up with Minsung Wang and Ron Krielen, and together they have co-founded social design studio: Bron van Doen and social enterprise: Uit de Buurtfabriek (Neighbourhood Furniture Factory). Conor's client base includes the Municipality of Eindhoven, the Dutch Design Foundation, PROUD Europe, the Van Abbemuseum, Woonbedrijf, De Reactor, SIVV, and TU/Eindhoven, Hans Sauer Stiftung, SCE, and Work Play Experience.

Product DevelopmentStudio Henriette Waal Feb 2012 - Jul 2012Amsterdam, NetherlandsI worked with Henriette on two main projects. Werkplaats Buijtenland - Buijtenbrouwerij and Hunnie. During the Buijtenbrouwerij I worked with Henriette to develop a trailer for brewing cider on location. During this process we collaborate with a local cider brewer and a local orchard owner. A large part of my work was developing the physical 3D designs and helping with the implementation. Hunnie is a project where Henriette Waal and Sophie Krier collaborated. Design ResearchT+Huis Sep 2011 - Jan 2012Eindhoven Area, NetherlandsWhile working at the T+HUIS I conducted observational and ethnographic research in a new location where we were developing a new service for the children of the area. Together with Heather Daam I also developed the first classes for that area which doubled up as research tools in order to understand the neighbourhood from the perspective of the children. I made a promotional video for the T+Huis which was displayed during Dutch Design Week 2011 and is still used to explain the concept of the T+Huis to newcomers.http://www.t-huis.info/

I worked with him on weekends and during holidays beside my secondary school education. Together we build small and large houses, sheds and we did the finishing of many interiors including hanging doors, laying floors, laying the architrave and skirting boards and some customised pieces of furniture.
