Recieved a B.A. in Sociology from Illinois State University in 2018. I have experience in research through multiple internships at Illinois State University. I was an Intern for Dr. Marion Willetts of the Sociology & Anthropology department at Illinois State University (2018). In this internship, I assisted in the verification and gathering of data on cases of animal abuse by animal shelters. Additionally, I was an Intern at The McLean County Museum of History (2017), where I conducted and transcribed interviews for their Oral Histories Program. I also conducted research with Stephanie Buyno and Bridget McCafferty under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Wellin (2018). This research was for Habitat for Humanity McLean County through Illinois State University, and seeked to answer questions posed by Habitat for Humanity. This researched required qualitative sociological data gathering and analysis of individuals affiliated currently or previously with the student branch of Habitat for Humanity at Illinois State University. Additionally, I have volunteer experience with The First Congregational Church of Wilmette. I volunteered for FCCW through their mission trip to Edisto Island, South Carolina. This mission trip provided the children of Edisto with a free to attend summer program that focused on the arts, recreation, nutrition, as well as many other various areas. My roll their was a supervisor of the children, as well as a facilitator of the activities.
