As the Compensation and Financial Analysis Manager, I serve as a company business partner driving evaluation, analysis, and financial impact of business decisions and opportunities through financial modeling and other analyses of compensation plans and related metrics. I partner closely with Human Resources, Executive Management, and other key stakeholders to assist in the management and administration of compensation programs. This includes continued evaluation of all compensation aspects including salary, bonus, long-term incentive plans, commissions, KPI metrics, and other incentive compensation plans. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to align compensation programs with business objectives and provides periodic analysis and reporting on such plans while supporting coordination across business functions in administering such plans.

As an assistant controller the responsibilities vary drastically from day to day and even hour to hour. The primary responsibility is overseeing, reviewing and driving organizational initiatives through supporting and developing sales and recruiting teams. From a financial standpoint this involves reviewing financial statements, expenses and pricing models to ensure healthy financial performance. Operationally, I spent time focusing on the behaviors of our sales and recruiting teams to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. In both scenarios I partner with and at times have to influence my Vice President, Directors and sales teams to make changes in their behaviors to improve our business portfolio. Additionally, there is a large amount of my job that is spent developing myself and the talent around me to ensure that as opportunities arise, we are able to make sure we have talented individuals ready to step in. This involves constructing and executing specific development plans with my supervisor and direct reports and managing this plan throughout the year.
