In this summer fellowship I conducted research to assess and improve diversity initiatives for the sustainability division of a city government.My primary role was to conducted community based research by designing and implementing survey methodology and phone based interviews. Efforts to ensure that surveys were representative of city demographics were successful.I also utilized multiple years of city records and census data to determine if members of the city were being underserved in the area of sustainability.At the close of my project, I collaborated across departments to begin the development of outreach materials and interventions based on the findings of this research.
