My professional learning experiences and career have provided excellent working opportunities and challenges for me. I have been fortunate to spend my working life to date pursuing and following my passions of teaching, working with and leading technology in education for the improvement of teaching and learning, as well as corporate executive management.Broad General Management experience in ICT for education covering full gambit including business development, marketing, product development and training.Specialties: Industry & education strategy, corporate development, team development and optimisation, change and performance management, competitive analysis and market strategy.I am a committed and enthusiastic educator, a highly experienced information technology expert and successful musician. With wide and considerable opportunities in primary to tertiary education in a variety of communities and countries, including New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and the Middle East, I have extensive knowledge of curricula, its required planning and delivery for effective implementation across a diverse range of cultures. As well, I have designed, planned and delivered professional development to teachers, school leaders, industry professionals and principals across New Zealand at primary and secondary school levels and at university level. Additionally, I have been responsible for developing through to submission major national and international proposals at government level for important educational initiatives.My inherent passion for the development of young students through to adult learners (both academic and well-being), proven management skills, leadership experience, education planning abilities, and my ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues sees me recognised as an innovative thinker with the ability to successfully manage change and technological progression.
