Participates in the development and implementation of the Division’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Analyzes and reports data regarding quality and completion rates for all programs of study within the Business and Information Technology Division. Assists the Dean in the preparation, documentation, and reporting of departmental outcomes and achievements. Oversees the division's strategic plan in order to encourage and assist with the completion of the Business and Information Technology Division’s mission and goals for each academic year. Assists with articulating the vision for the Business and Information Technology Division to include goals for recruitment, enrollment, management and retention. Maintains compliance with criteria of accrediting agencies and compiles annual reporting data for each accrediting agency. Evaluates courses to ensure compliance with The North Carolina Community College System’s guidelines and regulations for all classes within the Business and Information Technology Division. Assists the Dean with course audits, online quality standard reviews, and online certification tracking. Assists the Department Chairs with the implementation or revision of outcome measurement tools for each program area. Represents the Business and Information Technology Division in the community and at various college-related functions.

Instructs and organizes seated, online, and hybrid classes for degree-seeking students. Utilizes Blackboard to create online components for all courses taught. Assists in the selection of textbook adoption for courses within the Business Department. Evaluates and advises Work-Based Learning students, serving as the Faculty Coordinator for each WBL in the program area. Advises students and assists with registration using WebAdvisor and Datatel.

Instructed the Marketing Research and International Marketing classes for degree-seeking students. Responsible for the organization of the class material and the development of the class structure. Utilized Canvas to create online components for all courses taught. Assisted in the selection of textbook adoption for assigned courses.
