The Education Team at the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission is responsible for TLC driver education, which includes developing and refining curriculum standards as well as managing education providers.

I have had the pleasure of working with small business owners as they complete Strategic Steps for Growth, an executive business education program for Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs), media, entertainment, & technology firms, and independent physician practices. As a result, I have helped 50 businesses graduate from the program, including a 100% retention rate for the inaugural cohort for doctors.I have also hosted 15 program alumni events and workshops that have served over 100 businesses.

As a Site Facilitator for the Long Term Care Emergency Management Program, I ensured that four nursing homes and assisted living facilities improved their comprehensive emergency management plans. To accomplish that, I facilitated 52 coaching sessions with nursing home and long-term care administrators and medical professionals so that they can implement new policies and trainings.

At the NYC Mayor's Office of Recovery and Resiliency, I helped the senior policy advisors maintain a tracker of multiple NY Rising projects using Microsoft Excel which included summarizing meeting notes, project proposals, and federal funding guidelines. I also worked with city agencies on preparing "One NYC: The Plan For a Strong and Just City," for publication, compiling appendices, pictures, and glossaries.

I was awarded the opportunity to be a graduate assistant for two professors: Dr. Ryan Smith, Associate Professor and Dr. Carla Robbins, Clinical Professor of National Security Studies. For Dr. Smith, I performed quantitative and qualitative analyses of last statements for 500 Texas death row inmates and researched criminal justice topics. I also helped him coordinate a lecture on the NYPD's Stop and Frisk policy utilizing third party vendors and clients. For Dr. Robbins, I researched job opportunities and long-term employment projections for a new master's program in international affairs proposal. I also assisted with curriculum development for classroom instruction by researching foreign policy topics, including U.S. sanctions against Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S. defense budget.

Along with the Community Recovery Specialists (CRS), we worked together on transition documents that discuss neighborhood demographics, post-Sandy FEMA damage assessments, and Red Cross involvement. I compiled all of my colleagues' situation reports into a weekly summary and sent it to the Community Recovery Supervisor. I also attended partner meetings with FEMA officials and nonprofit organizations to discuss ongoing issues and solutions within Sandy-affected neighborhoods.

I helped my Legislative Outreach colleague research federal, state and local terrorism prevention protection program plans. We also attended House and Senate hearings on disaster relief and transportation safety. I helped my Performance Analyst colleague outline specific guidelines on FEMA radiological emergency preparedness exercises and nuclear power plant emergency zones.

Working with the client services team, I helped the company's CFO enter payroll data for over two-hundred employees on a weekly basis and produce subsequent invoice reports. I compiled monthly sales and earnings reports. Also, I audited our contract employees' files to make sure they follow the Joint Commission standards. Furthermore, I interacted with clients and job applicants and verified their skills, certifications, and employment eligibility.

I assisted paralegal staff in the preparation and organization of depositions. I also coded legal and human resources documents using the CT Summation program.

I conducted research using LexisNexis for use in legal cases and assisted lawyers in preparing legal cases and administrative paperwork. I helped paralegals organize the legal library and keep track of important documents.

I reviewed sampled materials from various construction companies and corrected blueprint drawings for school construction projects.
