Grew up in Johannesburg, and studied Law, English Literature, and International Studies at the University of Stellenbosch where he received his Honours Blazer for Cultural Achievements. Joined Nedcor as Part of their Leadership Development Programme in 2000. Studied acting at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland, where he received the Riverdance Scholarship in 2002. Performed in Ireland, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom, including a principal role on the West End (Stones In His Pockets) before returning to Johannesburg. Was head of Screen Performance at AFDA Johannesburg. Moved to New York to perform on Broadway in 2013 (Romeo and Juliet) before heading to Norway where he performed and wrote. Returned to Johannesburg in 2017. Graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town. Has written for theatre and screen, including major marketing and content campaigns for big corporates and major sports teams.
