The initial contact with Stepnell was to take on the upskilling of the construction site workforce in the use of ViewPoint Field View for their quality management process.A year later the company had to make an emergency move away from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail because of the massive hits they were taking from denial of service bots associated with the war on Ukraine.At that point my focus changed from just Field View to the onboarding of the whole company to using the google workspace as its prime platform for file storage, email, creating and sharing of documentation. With this came the need to educate the workforce to think in a more collaborative manner when it comes to document creation and communication to get the most out of the Google Workspace Platform.

With the aim of designing and delivering training on a number of the other software packages to improve the IT skills of the user base across the business. These included the Microsoft Office suite, PowerProject and Viewpoint Field View. The role developed to involve, identifying how the business could improve existing business processes utilizing the current software stack.

As Project manager for Occam I have been managing delivery of infrastructure, software and services to clients, most recently MoD and Unibet. During my time with Occam I have created plans, managed resources and managed the delivery of 53 Projects using daily scrums to manage agreement on sprint content and removing impediments for the development team on projects ranging from a Program of Changes to existing software solutions, Upgrades and Migrations of complex solutions, along with managing business as usual Service Delivery for clients in the Public, Private and Defense sectors of industry. Brought an upgrade and migration project for Unibet to a successful conclusion, this was a project that was in trouble when I was asked to take it over. I managed the change of approach including changing from internal to 3rd party resources after the project had been initiated controlling the velocity and scope by creating, managing and reconciling plans and managing resource to bring the project in on budget.Led project team through a phased implementation, working with third party suppliers, to deliver the migration of clients existing software solution to a new operating system on virtual machines to the MoD’s exacting security and performance standards whilst minimizing the impact of business as usual. This was delivered alongside a change program I ran over the past 2 years of working with 3 third party suppliers as well as in house development team, all delivered on budget and on time.Led a project team to deliver a change program for Healthspan delivering IBM software integration with the client’s systems to enable delivery of personalized POS and direct marketing Campaigns.Led a Project team in technical delivery of the solution for a Proof of Concept for the Lookers Group to a successful conclusion.
