Initially started as analyst programmer to support ERP systems using AS400/DB2. Performs day to day administrative tasks and troubleshoot end user related issues. Assists in software development works including mobile app development, web-based applications and desktop-based applications.Setup & manage local data warehouse using MSSQL. Perform database tuning and query optimizing, tweaking server configurations, create and maintain suitable indexes/statistics etc. Providing backup solutions of different scenarios including incremental, full and transactional backups. Regularly testing and refining recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.Served as database administrator (MSSQL) and system analyst, leading and managing internal projects from requirements gathering and development to deployment and go live. Key projects:- Developed over 100 customize reports to support end users daily operations via MSSQL SSRS and Tableau.- Developed excel macros to produce customized reports with data connections to MSSQL via ODBC and OLEDB technologies.- Served as DBA and project lead in the completion of 20+ small, medium to large scale systems implementations, managing projects from business requirements analysis to solutions delivery and support.- Deployed automated solutions for database backups, index tuning, statistics updates and other functional jobs for MSSQL.
