Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a first class honors degree with a strong interest across multiple engineering disciplines, from mechanical design, electrical systems and software.I have had the opportunity to work at Logitech assisting a team of engineers to develop innovate AR/VR products. I assisted in the stream-lining of production of units from small scale batch production to larger scale production.I was part of a team who came top ten nationally in an Enterprise Ireland award, with a design to reduce the wastage of medicine from spoilage in the veterinary sector.As well as good theoretical knowledge I have a strong hands on experience from building my own workshop and fixing farm machinery at home.At Munters I developed a deep understanding of the workings of HVAC units from the thermodynamic and physical principles by which the machines operate to the actual production of units on the floor.Due to my technical knowledge and problem solving skills I learnt how to fix many difficult computer related issues from pop up errors, I would assist colleagues in need of support.I have supported the Company through an acquisition formerly EDPAC and now Munters, during this time I lead a 5S initiative under guidance from a third party company.I supported the migration of IT gear from the EDPAC domain to the Munters domain and integrated many Munters systems into the local company to meet company policies.I assisted the company in hiring for a permanent position in IT.I lead an early initiative for the creation of digital workbook solutions for Munters operations locally, since then the project has grown and has 4 full time developers and 3 consultants part time working on it, the project is now being rolled out in many of Munters sites globally.
