He has more than 30 years of experience conducting and reviewing marine fisheries stock assessments while working at the U.S. NOAA Fisheries Laboratories in Miami, Woods Hole, Newport, and La Jolla. Dr. Conser also has extensive stock assessment experience internationally, and has worked with nearly all of the Fishery Management Councils in the United States.
