Going Green at The Conservatory (NJ)The Conservatory (NJ) building, located at 540 East State Street in downtown Trenton, NJ, has been under complete renovation since June 2005 by its current owners, Sterick and Jacqui Ivey. Structural and aesthetic improvements will continue into the foreseeable future with our Green Building and Grounds Initiative, which will include energy-efficiency, renewable energy and whole ecological design integration and maintenance, all of which will demonstrate that Historic Preservation and Sustainability are Natural Fits.

The Conservatory is a central location for the arts infused with music, dance, theater and visual arts and where renowned entertainers perform and aspiring artists partner with experienced instructors to cultivate their God-given talents. We offer Premiere Creative SpacesTM to local groups and individuals as well as those from surrounding states and across the country. We will offer specialized training, indoor/outdoor concerts, art shows, craft shows, music and dance performances, story-telling, spoken word in addition to accredited and non-accredited courses in various arts disciplines to college students and the general public.

The Conservatory (NJ) offers instruction and performance space to individual artists as well as established and newly-formed arts groups and cultural organizations at a reasonable rate or using a comparable barter system to provide lessons and/or entertainment to those who live, work or visit the Trenton area.
