I'm a good balance between creativity and process. My past work experience is varied, but my primary motivator has been 'logic puzzles'. I enjoy a variety of puzzles, and I seek them out. I'm also a strong advocate for documentation, and my documentation work stems from trying to find the best ways to communicate the needed information to the audiences that need the info. That 'puzzle aspect' is at the core of the work that I find the most interesting. I can also keep a cool head when a crisis arises.I was a participant in Red Bull Creation 2018, and my team (Upstream Social) was awarded the Judges Choice trophy, as a result of very successful collaboration. I've also achieved the Toastmasters International "Distinguished Toastmaster" award, and I've found satisfaction by mentoring others in public speaking and presentation skills, as well as in professional areas. I was a Club Mentor, and a past Area Governor for District 4, Area C5, supporting a handful of clubs, including the clubs at Microsoft Silicon Valley and at Linked[in]. I'm currently the President Sierra 49ers (club #49), the Vice-President of Public Relations at Point of Order (club #6024), and a member of CBC Toastmasters, and the first Logistics Manager for District 101.Specialties: Secure remote access to serial consoles a particular favorite! Enterprise Network Administration, Linux Systems Administration, Project Management, Facilities Planning, Technical Writing, Training (including coursework creation), documentation and knowledge transfer skills, design and fabrication experience. I've also got fair experience with perl, PHP, MySQL, and I'm learning Python.
