• Solely responsible for all HR operations including: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performances management, compliance, benefits administration, and continuously supporting regular, contract and seasonal employees. • Works with hiring managers through the talent acquisition process from job posting to hiring including assisting in posting job descriptions, tracking applicants, collecting resumes and cover letters for interviews, assiting in scheduling interviews, assiting with phone screens, being main point of communications with candidates, and communicating offers.• Manage all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in HRIS system – Bamboo HR, and audits for accuracy and compliance. • Identify and implement recommendations for improvement with HR processes • Provide HR advisory services to employees covering absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters• Assit payroll department with processing payroll related matters, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes• Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, contributes to policy development, and upkeeps employee directory and organizational chart• Facilitate employee engagement programs in collaboration with leadership - Brown Bag Fridays on bi-weekly basis to have informal discussions with employees around topics within organization including HR updates• Partnering and maintaining strategic relationships with Executive Director and the Leadership team to align HR strategies with the organizational strategies of the three main programs of Sunshine – Community Business Academy, Business Acceleration Services, and Credit to Capital and the overall mission of Sunshine Enterprises
