Transportation Coordinator
CurrentHandle running reports for driver scan percentages, tracking late routes, opening orders, traveling/SWAT drivers, track route progress, notify sales, customer, service, warehouse of any load issues, communicate shortages, overages, or mispicks to AR and warehouse, route stores for specials or better route placement, request hotel bookings for overnight drivers and traveling staff as well as request per diem for those instances, daily truck lot check, liaise with the shop regarding truck repairs and preventative maintenance, distribute keys for pool cars as well as see to the maintenance for those cars, keep track of who is on vacation and place that information on the outlook calendar for the transportation management team to see, video review shortages on trucks, assist drivers with clerical issues and remote access handheld devices when needed, assign trucks to drivers for routes, update the tv display with pertient company info and driver info as needed, distribute information regarding meetings, inspections, and awareness materials via memo, truck messaging system and tv display in lounge, review timecards for errors as well as driver logs, prepare powerpoints and present powerpoints as needed, communicate to the management any driver’s issues, update driver info (physicals, phone numbers, uniform sizes, boot sizes, etc), provide TOC office with driver/route/truck information every day, scan driver trip sheets, HAZMAT sheets, warehouse report sheets and save to shared folders, upload fuel reports into shared folder daily and monthly upload the entire shared folder for corporate AR reporting, print cash reports for any driver check collections upon their return, find and provide any additional information that the drivers may need regarding pay issues, route issues, benefits, etc., proof read memos and notices for management, order food for orientations, stock snacks and coffee, find missing checks for AR, run errands as needed for transportation manager.
