I have worked many years as a retail employee, demonstrating effective teamwork, leadership, and company loyalty. Recently I was working as an advocate of disabled Arizonians and working in a close partnership to achieve short and long term goals on an individual level. As of January 2019, I began working as a Support Specialist assisting students to achieve their higher education goals and learn to succeed while also seeking to further my own education. I am very motivated to learn new skills and tasks, and have a desire to advance in my career. I recently graduated with my AAS and received RHIT certification status. Due to the current pandemic I returned to online school to seek my BS and RHIA with the intention of getting a CHDA. Currently I have an interest in becoming a data analyst in the healthcare sector, with intentions to help better the process of utilizing EHRs and patient data in general. At this time I am doing independent research in the area of healthcare and HIMs in order to write articles that help to better inform the general public about healthcare and HIM related issues.
