• Facilitator and monitor of all FMLA and other leave paperwork for entire Northeast Region.• Responsible for all offer letter packages, relocation requests, background checks, on-boarding and welcoming training and development for all exempt employees.• Review and advise field on all background checks that need review and HR approval.• Solve and advise management with employee related, policy, procedural and legal questions.• Regional support for eHRMS/People Center systems. Duties include reviewing and approving any and all changes to employee’s salary, title, band, etc., updating and maintaining employee records, and processing requested reports.• Troubleshoot and solve general payroll and benefit issues and coordinate communication between the Payroll and Benefits department and field.• Assist with opening new business accounts in the Region and make certain that a Schedule of Coverage is implemented in a timely manner to ensure a smooth transition.• Plan, coordinate and participate in yearly College Recruiting Weekend, as well as Regional Training Summits on a semi-annual basis. Duties include coordination of logistics for participants and facilitators, training supplies, catering, overnight accommodations, etc.• Work closely with the Regional Staffing Manager to post and source all regional management open positions on Taleo system.• Facilitate regional trainings on company policy and procedure to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. • Responsible for compliance in all areas of state and federal regulations and laws. • Advise management on pending terminations and when appropriate, process severance package requests and ensure proper compliance with the legal department and all company policies.• Maintain the Regional Training, Bench, and Relocation Component financials and ensure the Region remains within the given yearly budget.
