INTERNATIONAL SURVEY OF ADULT SKILLS (ISAS) is a ten (10) year project with 75 designated countries participating. The United States will complete the survey with their participation by 2020. U. S. Interviewers collect in-country information regarding adult skills in the United States, as well as work and educational activities undertaken in their daily lives. Interviewers are trained on all aspects of computerized data capture, and solicitation of pertinent information in conjunction with authorized privacy initiatives required by federal, state, and local laws. Interviewers are able to compensate individuals interviewed according to their computerized abilities and input.
