Consult with Tier 1 Customer Sales and Operations organizations to determine the integrity of the fiber by performing fiber characterization analysis and providing recommended remediation's on fiber optic spans to ensure performance for a desired transmission rate service of 10G-800G to be implemented on Fixed or Flexgrid using WLAi/WL5e technology.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze the fiber characterization (FC) traces Insertion Loss, Optical Return Loss (ORL), Chromatic Dispersion (CD), and Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) - Provide detailed analysis on a span-by-span basis reflecting the health of the fibers selected to be used during network deployment.- Develop remediation recommendations by pinpointing the area of concern along span that will prevent network system from operating and functioning as designed and optimal levels.- Provide support to Project Management, Sales, internal and external field operations until resultsachieve desired output.
