Life Instructions LLC was formed with helping people in mind. As a life insurance broker, I can assist individuals with their life insurance needs; as an health insurance agent with Blue Cross Blue Shield, I can provide individual or group health insurance and for those who qualify; medicare advantage or supplement plans.I am the creator of "My Perfect Will" a comprehensive organizer that empowers you and your family by documenting your plans and making your wishes and desires known. I know through first-hand experience when a loved one is incapacitated, terminally ill, or departs without plans or preparation for the inevitable, families are filled with uncertainty and confronted with burdens during a time of despair or grief. Meanwhile, decisions must be made regarding life support, disbursement of personal assets, location of important documents and the expense associated with final arrangements. Additionally, the absence of a Last Will and Testament can create dissension in families, which often leads to tangible property and assets being tied up in the legal system. It has been my greatest inspiration to minimize the pain and suffering of families when faced with a catastrophic life event. Administer a variety of Federal funded public service and community development programs in excess of 18 million dollars annually. Represent the department and local government in contracts with federal, state and county officials, legislators, business and community leaders, non-profit agencies, and other public and private enterprises. Manage the annual proposal review and award process according to federal and local regulations. Oversee the preparation, management and monitoring of contracts for non-profit organizations. Develop subordinates through recognizing strengths and weaknesses, providing coaching and counseling, identifying training needs and securing appropriate training.Prepare weekly financial reports to monitor the performance of the programs. Prepare and monitor division’s annual budget. Handle disciplinary actions including participation in the grievance process.Evaluate the efficiency of existing processes, methods, procedures and policies. Establish goals, performance measurements and standards for the delivery of efficient, economical and quality services.Ensure compliance with mandated performance evaluations directly and through subordinate supervisors for all staff. Oversee the development and implementation of the City of Detroit’s Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness.
