Maintained and updated on-line policyholder information such as issue and cancel policies, process broker of record changes, added additional entities and proprietorship coverages.• Followed-up for premium on cancelled policies and identified claims to be recovered on replaced policies.• Answered incoming calls, responded to voice/email messages and contacted claimants to resolve issues. Processed policy change requests and new premium rates for endorsements. • Examined initial claims (DB-450) for payments or rejections and determined payment type. • Verified eligibility, accepted liability if applicable and issued payments and refunds. • Explained disability terms to policy holders and updated claims accordingly. • Reviewed all correspondence from the Workers’ Comp Board, called employers, doctors and/or policy holders for additional information to pay or deny claims.
