Constance J. Walker is a thought-leader and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in Community Economic Development. She is the founder of Walker and Associates Consulting and is committed to helping her clients foster sustainable investments that will improve the economic, social, and environmental conditions of low-income communities around the world. Her unique career path includes experience at all levels of the nonprofit infrastructure, most notably as Executive Director of the Greater Richmond Community Development Corporation, Program Officer of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and Program Officer and Director of the Program Related Investment Fund for the James Irvine Foundation. After 15-plus years as a consultant, Constance is excited to expand her business with the goal of boosting more leaders and organizations.Constance has a BS in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and is an alumnus of the Development Training Institute’s National Internship in Community Economic Development.
