▪manage and coordinate the manufacturing engineering function of the plant-operations unit(Internal Automation department, Process Engineering department, Maintenance department., and Training department.)▪ translate plant-operations unit’s manufacturing engineering strategy into action plans and ensure implementation▪ contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant-operations unit ▪ ensure the achievement of manufacturing engineering targets according to internal and external customer expectations▪ initiate and control investments for production equipment (e.g. production machines, assembly equipment, automation technology, etc.) and manufacturing engineering equipment (e.g. for software tools, equipment for machine installation/maintenance)▪ prepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of manufacturing engineering cost centers and all plant variable costs▪ ensure production performance (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. regarding cost, lead time, quality, scrap, waste, energy, OEE, etc.) in cooperation with plant controlling▪ ensure local implementation of central manufacturing engineering standards

Organize, lead, and control all production areas for VDA customers

Responsibilities: o Organize, lead and control all customer and all other entities audits (ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001) for the assigned area.o Organize, lead and control the production activity for the assigned line, unit / area, being responsible for achievements concerning quality, quantity, dead-lines, expenseso Makes sure that production process is following the parameters specified by the Industrial and Quality engineerso Lead and control the continuous improvement program for designated areao Responsible for quality of the parts produced in designated areao Responsible for cost reduction programs for designated areao Organize the activity of the subordinate, Engineers, Shift Leaders, Setters and Operatorso Generates productivity reports and other operations metricso Directs daily department activities in order to meet production goals.o Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requestso Reviews and establishes material, equipment and manpower resource requirementso Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning, industrial, quality and logistico Organize personal recruiting (Engineers, Shift leaders, setters, line operators)o Responsible for new products implementation and for relocations projects from abroad to RomaniaAchievements:o All customer and other entities audits were passedo Fulfill quality, quantity, dead-lines and expenses targets sets by board of management and sometimes exceeded ito Ramp up the production area in Contitech Romania from 2 projects and 50 people in 2005 to over 15 projects and 300 people in presento Start up the production site in Changchun –China during my 6 months delegation and I contributed to ISO TS 16949 certification of Changchun factoryo I contributed to Volkswagen passed audit and ramp up of Renault H79 project in Kaluga/Russia during my 3 weeks delegation
