Alongside Cornell Information Science Senior Lecturer Kyle Harms, I developed curriculum for eCornell's upcoming Introduction to Programming with JavaScript course series (CIS56x). This course is targeted at business professionals seeking to expand their programming knowledge to increase efficiency in the workplace. During this contract, I built 100+ assignments and 20+ projects to teach JavaScript from "block programming" to the full development of a Progressive Web Application (PWA). This course is under faculty review and will premiere in early 2021.

INFO 4340 - UX & Software Development StudioUndergraduate TA for Cornell Information Science Senior Lecturer Kyle Harms. INFO 4340 is designed to mimic an internship experience, with students practicing the full application development cycle, from initial research to design to implementation of a Progressive Web Application (PWA).Weekly responsibilities included holding student office hours, writing assignment feedback, leading in-class activities, and grading student assignments. INFO 4340 is based around the Vue framework. Students continue to develop design principles and are introduced to working with a modern JavaScript framework. The final project results in a fully functional Progressive Web Application which can be installed for offline use on any mobile or desktop device.I took this course during the Fall 2018 semester. My final project is available for viewing under the "Projects" tab.

Strategic Investment Group (SIG) is a pioneer in the outsourced chief investment office (OCIO) industry with $37 Billion in assets under management.The first five weeks consisted of a rotation through each of SIG’s asset class teams.The following five weeks were focused on research and preparation for a final presentation to the firm.Opportunities included attending manager meetings, reviewing manager decks, finalizing client reporting materials, and spreadsheet modeling.Final Project & Presentation to the Firm: Evaluate SIG’s competitive position in the current OCIO landscape and identify future growth opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative data sources.

CS/INFO 2300 is the follow-up course to CS/INFO 1300. Weekly responsibilities included holding student office hours, writing assignment feedback, leading a laboratory section, and grading student assignments. As a Grading Chair, I worked alongside another undergraduate teaching assistant to synthesize learning goals and other grading criteria into the course rubrics.Students learn design principles and how to build dynamic web pages using HTML, CSS, and PHP. The course also gave students exposure to a variety of industry tools, software suites, and packages, such as SQL, Visual Code Studio, and jQuery.
