Profile bio

About Constantin Scherelis

I completed my PhD in Maritime Engineering at the Australian Maritime College – Centre for Maritime Engineering and Hydrodynamics in Tasmania, Australia in 2021. My PhD research focused on potential tidal energy developments in Australia by formulating new acoustics-based survey and processing methods for tidal resource assessment and environmental monitoring studies in turbulent marine environments. With extensive experience in hydroacoustic data acquisition and analytics for marine site characterization and monitoring studies, I joined the Survey Department at Jan De Nul to help manage and execute hydrographic and topographic survey needs for offshore, maritime dredging, and reclamation projects worldwide.
