My role is to contact customers who have interacted with the online platform to clarify their intentions. If their intention is to organise their pre-approval to purchase new property or to refinance an existing home-loan, my role will be to qualify and book them in with an appropriate time to speak to a mortgage broker. Qualifying customers includes getting details regarding their current income and asset position and measuring this against their current liabilities and expenses to calculating whether or not they service for the loan. It is a blend of sales skills and credit knowledge.There is a particular focus on handling customer objections and issues live and there are also extensive KPI’s that measure and reward my ability to maximise output of high-quality appointments that are booked in with brokers.
