Staring from 2009 to 2020, along with highly motivated and professional executive team, recruited during this period, led the fundamental transformation and development of a small-sized loss-making conventional bank operational in Belarus into the highly profitable and efficient medium-sized digital bank with an exemplary local as well as international reputation. In fact, turning Belaruski Narodny Bank, a small international subsidiary of Bank of Georgia (LSE: BGEO), a leading Georgian commercial bank, into the largest institutional asset of circa USD 350 mln ever held by any Georgian corporation abroad. The assets of the bank grew 10-fold, while the net loans to customers – up to 15 times and the funding base – more than 20 times, all in USD terms, making the bank the fastest growing financial institution in the banking sector in Belarus throughout this period - the bank that currently enables its customers both individuals and legal entities to manage more than 80% of its key products and services online through the digital banking channels. Developed a clear vision and pursued the required determination to be the first financial institution in the country to migrate its core banking system, various information services and data to the cloud.Managed to attract circa USD 150 mln investments from the leading international finance institutions (IFC, EBRD, FMO, Triodos, EFSE, NЕFCO, Incofin, TripleJump, Symbiotics, BlueOrchard, etc.) to support the private initiative and the development of MSME sector in Belarus.Throughout the professional career, always kept a special focus on an intensive development of MSME sector and the private initiative, strongly believing MSMEs to be key in job and wealth creation for any economy, especially for the developing countries.
