As an Innovation Officer I work with various team to set the firm’s innovation strategy across our business units working with the leadership of the different units to ensure that we are embracing new market places, thought processes, and technologies that unlock value for our customers and move the different companies forward. We as a team are responsible for working with our business colleagues to plot the 2-5 year product roadmap, understand and capitalize on the global Fintech ecosystem through investments and partnerships, and operate the Masawara Accelerator and different Fintech platforms to ensure that the group is evolving as rapidly as our markets are changing to adapt to customer and client needs.I work with the global team of technology and product development experts across all our business units in the group to define the systems and technology architecture, identify and select future technology platforms, optimize and manages our technology spend, set our open source strategy, and most importantly defines the engineering standards for the group Our goal is to make Masawara one of the best places for a technologist to work on the continent by ensuring our colleagues are working on the hardest problems our clients have while leveraging best that technology has to offer.

Connected Sahara is a Sub-Saharan network that works with players in the Creative Industries Sector to build and support programs that boost entrepreneurship, improve access to education, and contribute to the potency of Entrepreneurship on the continent. Part of the work includes working with the Private and Public Sector on policy formulation to remove barriers to business creation and to develop communities that encourage, guide and reinforce Small Enterprises on a major scale.As the Chairman my role centers around creating connections between the different Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Builders that directly impact the Creative Industries and work with them on creating an environment that stimulates growth and job creation.
