Software Arhitect
CurrentAs a SW architect I’m responsible for creating and documenting the software architecture for the green field projects. On the brown field projects, I create architectural diagrams that help the stakeholders to better understand the architecture. These are also used on internal documentation. The projects that I’m involved in are mainly web applications, but I also work on standalone/desktop applications (Java and C#).On a more detailed scale my responsibilities include the following:- Creating the starter projects and POCs that implement my proposed architecture; this helps the developers to immediately start the implementation.- Coordinating and monitoring of the development team and participated in requirement clarification for upcoming global or dedicated projects.- Leading teams throughout the entire lifecycle of multiple applications.- Collaborated with management to identify, refine, and translate customer needs into concrete technical requirements.- Collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications. - Assisting product owners and scrum teams to explain solution design and help in the process of user story documentation and estimation- Working with multiple departments to resolve time/resources constraints and define delivery and architectural roadmaps and resource allocation.- Architectural decisions, major solution turning points and impact assessment. On top of my role as software architect I’m also the technical team lead and software developer, responsible for the mentoring of junior, mid and senior developers. As a mentor I guide them into focusing on the career framework and achieve their best performances.I strongly believe that testing is the only way to ensure code quality, and that’s why this part of the development process is very important to me.
