As an Associate in Real Estate Portfolio Management at STORE Capital, I operate at the intersection of traditional equity real estate ownership and debt investing. My role encompasses working with Acquisition underwriters and analysts, as well as overseeing a portfolio to identify growth opportunities and manage risk, including opportunistic dispositions and creative solutions to distressed scenarios. My multi-faceted role role requires numerous skills, such as detailed financial analysis, modeling, comprehensive credit assessment, and risk management. Additionally, I take pride in cultivating a superb team culture internally, and building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide range of parties externally.My previous tenure as an Analyst in Real Estate Distressed Investments exposed me to real estate investments that turned heavily distressed, including dated, vacant buildings in shrinking markets. My responsibilities included overseeing distressed assets, driving lease restructurings, handling rent concessions and relief, managing dispositions and lease-ups, potential asset repositionings, and sourcing deals. These responsibilities required financial analysis and market research, including pulling various comps to underpin my conclusions. This role instilled in me a deep understanding of the intricacies of real estate asset management and honed my skills in creative problem-solving and effective deal structuring.With a unique blend of experiences in both traditional equity real estate ownership and a debt investing perspective, I bring a holistic, well-rounded perspective to real estate investments.
