About Constanza Avaria

I began my teaching career in the same French high school in which I studied.In this school, with the French and English teachers, I organised « The Book Week »during which the students of secondary school had to create exhibitions about differentliterary movements to present to other students. This experience allowed me tounderstand that the process of acquiring language skills can be done in two or threelanguages in parallel and effectively.After that, I moved to France to both improve my French and develop myteaching skills. I worked as a teacher’s assistant and as a Spanish language acquisitionteacher with students aged 10 to 20. This challenge was both difficult and deeplyrewarding. It made me more than ever an international citizen and enable me to enrichmy professional toolset, especially during the lockdown when I practised remoteteaching.Languages are my passion and that is the reason why I studied linguistics andwhy I moved from Chile to Europe, and now from France to The Netherlands. SinceSeptember I’m following Dutch classes twice a week.
