I am a first generation Ecuadorian immigrant living in Cambridge, Ontario. I am a hard worker, an empath and an analyst. I pride myself at my interest for learning, being in a perpetual state of studying new areas and exploring topics for my own personal satisfaction. With a background in Psychology, I understand the importance of putting oneself in another's shoes.I have worked in the retail and restaurant industry since I was 16 years old. Having trained with great mentors who have helped me become who I am today, as well as the unconditional support of my family, I consider myself to be an expert in problem solving and customer relations.Having trained in fast paced environments for over 6 years, I am the type of person who does not crack under pressure, in fact I prefer it. Having to balance table rotations, reservations, solving client conflicts and bussing tables simultaneously and effortlessly has taught me more about patience and discipline than anything else in the world. I believe that retail and restaurant workers are the backbone of society and often overlooked.Thanks to my analytical, sales skills and need for learning I was offered the assistant manager position at 180 Smoke in 2022. I proved to be an asset for this company, building bonds with my coworkers and higher ups, who I hold in the highest regard to this day.My personal goals include becoming a licensed Psychologist as well as a certified Herbalist. I wish to one day have my own apothecary and be able to experiment with herbs in order to normalize and bring a more holistic approach to psychological treatments. I have the fundamental belief that the way we deal with our interpersonal relationships signifies who we are as individuals. I have learned to genuinely care for those that I assist, whether it is a stranger on the street or one of my customers. I believe that we have a moral obligation to help one another and to hold eachother responsible for so.
