An experienced Sales and Marketing professional from armed forces background with an experience of over 23 years with the Indian Army and over 7 yrs corporate experience with OEMs in Defense and Automobile Sector. I have multi-faceted skills borne out of experience in Command, Leadership & Cross-functional Managerial functions, Strategic Planning for Project Management, Offsets, Industrial Collaboration, Business Development activities related to Defense Procurement and Customer Relation with MoD, Armed Forces, PMF, CAPF, DRDO and DPSUs. I possess practical experience of working from OEM side with all stakeholders while working on the prestigious defence projects of artillery, armoured and homeland security for the last six years to include, business development, institutional sales, sales to government and non government departments, defence & paramilitary forces. I have adequate exposure in overseas sales directly & Government sponsored line of credit transactions. I also have experience in forging Joint venture with companies and have understanding of the nuances of M&A Understanding of procurement processes governed by the Defence Acquisition Procurement 2020 (DAP), Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) and associated defense policies, as also the requirements of Indian defense & security forces. Executed the procurement cases from RFI for SQR formulations to AoN stage and thereafter participated in RFP.• Ability to influence based on good communication and presentation skills along with matching interpersonal skills based on Armed forces ethos.
